Not a single complaint from me. I was craving crispy shrimp. Not greasy fried shrimp or cold shrimp with cocktail sauce - crispy shrimp and this place hit the spot. I ordered the 12 piece salt and pepper shrimp which came with 12 of the most delicious shrimp I've ever had with some grilled onions and a piece of white bread.
It was seasoned perfectly and was a tad bit spicy which was perfect. The grilled green onions were a nice surprise and a wonderful addition. I also got a side order of Chinese egg rolls and they were cooked fresh and also crispy without being covered in grease. Service was friendly and my food was ready in 10 minutes. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Port Arthur again. -

15 perfectly Fried Oysters for $14.00. This is the kind of deal I typically expect, but cannot find near the coast! Tampura and corn meal fried versions of shrimp and fish fill the menu.
Bruce's delivers fried seafood satisfaction economically and in volume. Most will suspect the exterior of this simple, cinder block building with its frugal interior decorated with what I guess is a unkempt Fish tank and TV's at both ends. Also the walls have gigantic trophy lobsters crawling on them. I appreciate this nod to the bizarre, but some may find it unnerving.
For those delicate souls, and anyone not wanting to wait 20+ minutes for their order to arrive fresh from the fryer, I suggest calling ahead band taking out. -

We ordered s&p shrimp/catfish/wings, fried oyster and fried rice. Seafood was fresh and fried to order, However it's lacking of taste & spice. Kinda bland. Service was good and friendly.
